It was clean and tidy rather old fashioned
Small room and had rather odd way of getting into shower no lift

It was well located for viewing the foliage in upper Maine.
High from rate and minimal amenities made for a disappointing stay

I recently stayed at a charming historic hotel in the mountains and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, close to great hiking trails and within walking distance of delicious restaurants. The room was comfortable and the service was top-notch. The breakfast spread was satisfying, and I particularly enjoyed sitting by the cozy fireplace in the lobby. The hotel had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The only downside was the noise from passing trucks on the main road, which could disturb light sleepers.

Close to Sugarloaf. Ski lockers on main floor to lock equipment overnight. Grand hotel, old style circa 1918, well-maintained, clean, comfortable. Pub/restaurant closed, but excellent restaurant opposite. Helpful manager. Good coffee, historic decor, newly remodeled bathroom. Would stay again. Like stepping back in time. Friendly hostess, cozy common room with wine. Ideal for solo travelers.

The location of this hotel is just a short walk to the annual soccer tournament in Salem, Maine and a park, which was magnificent and perfect. The staff were all polite and exceptionally pleasant. The room was newly decorated and reasonably large, perfect for the value for a ski weekend.

We only stayed 2 nights, but we were glad we chose this unique hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the climate control in the rooms and having a work desk. The hotel also had some nice restaurants nearby, like Rolling Fatties, which was only a 10-minute walk away.

The Herbert Hotel in Kingfield has been a charming and comfortable place to stay. The best aspects were the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel room. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the towels were soft and absorbent. The hotel facilities were also impressive, with a museum-like lobby and a massive oak staircase. The staff, especially the manager Dawn, were kind and helpful. The location was convenient, fairly close to great hiking and everything we needed.

I had a great stay at a historic hotel in this city. The hotel was in a perfect location close to everything I went up there for, including fairly close to great hiking. The staff were helpful and the parking was convenient. Also, the hotel facilities were clean and tidy.
Nothing to be said.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the town. It's close to the shops, cafes, and galleries that I wanted to visit. the room I stayed in had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and a great view of the surroundings. the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.
I was disappointed to find out that the pet policy was very strict. I really wanted to bring my dog with me, but it would have been too complicated and inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a hotel near Sugarloaf and I had a fantastic experience. the location was perfect, with several restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It was also just a short drive away from the Sugarloaf parking lot, which was very convenient for our ski trip. Secondly, the hotel had a great atmosphere with a cozy lobby featuring sofas, a pool table, a fireplace, and a large screen TV. It was a perfect place to relax after a long day on the slopes. Additionally, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with nice artwork on the walls. Lastly, the owner provided exceptional customer service, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
There was only one minor issue with this hotel: the lack of reading lamps in the rooms. Other than that, everything was perfect.
